Another morning swim

Having arrived at the Silvana I jumped into my swim shorts and headed for the pool and to my disappointment I had to see that there a lot of older people had had the same idea as I did.

…I wasn’t too happy about that ‘cos I didn’t bring any goggles with me and I didn’t want to have to watch out for other swimmers as I knew I would be more than busy with concentrating on breathing every 3rd stroke.

A great first swim after a long break

When I arrived at the Silvana (the public bath in my Hometown Schweinfurt) at 9 AM in the morning there were hardly any people, which was great for me as I didn’t want to slalom swim, but just try to do my 750 meters breast stroke and hope that I wouldn’t drown :)
…In fact, it was a good practice ‘cos I had to keep my eyes open which is surely a good thing for the swimming part in June when there’ll be hundreds of others in the lake trying to do “their thing”.
